Sweetest Rachel, I looked at you picture on my refrigerator this morning and asked you to let me know you can hear me! WELL, I went to my neighbors to gather for our morning bikeride and she had the biggest, most beautiful Sunflower in her garden! Thanks for the hello!!! Love, Charlene

Hi Beautiful, Beautiful Angel I want you to know that EVERY day Aunty Tammy hears from someone who tells me that you have touched them in one way or another. Some say it was your beautiful smile, or your constant giggles, and still others say it was your generous heart and endless courage. There are even those who have never even met you, yet still say they wished they had because you have taught them so much without even knowing it. Your time here on earth was so very short and it saddens me every minute, but your PURPOSE is eternal. Your battle and the strength you showed in fighting it taught us all what the real important things in life SHOULD be. To spend time with one another, to be as silly as possible and laugh your head off, to always try your very best, to ALWAYS see the most positive side to everything and to LOVE your family with all your heart. Your life sweet girl was the most perfect example of what God wants us to be and that is why he chose YOU to be his own very special Angel. Thank you so much for reminding me what really matters. I miss you tremendously and I love you so very much. Until Later, Aunty Tammy xoxoxo

Rachel, Your smile, wit and energy is missed at the bus-stop. It is not the same with out you their. Your thought of daily, so is your family. I hope you are soaring high over the clouds and enjoying every minute of it. You've truly left an incredible imprint on our hearts.

Although the first day of school was exciting it wasn't the same with out Rachel. There was not a 5th grader or teacher at Briggs that did not think of Rachel yesterday. There's not an hour that passes that she is not thought of by our family. We pray every day that your family finds peace and happiness. Rachel is always in our hearts. The Spillers

Tomorrow is the first day of school and it will not be the same for any of us. Our hearts goes out to the Lee family. I know my children are having a tough time because a special friend will not be there. Lots of tears last night. Going to school tomorrow will make it real and will break our hearts again. I know that Rachel will remain in the hearts of so many and I tell my children when the tears continue to flow that time will begin to heal their hearts and it won't hurt so bad ...but I don't beleive that the pain will ever really go away... it will always ache...she is too special to ever forget. Lets find ways to honor our friend...be kind to eachother, share a smile for Rachel. Sending hugs to heaven

Hi my sweet Rachie! I truly can't believe that it has been 2 weeks since I've seen your beautiful face! I miss you so very, very much! My heart is so heavy. You mean the world to me!! Every where I go I feel you near and see things that make me think of you! Your love of life and everything it had to offer has really helped me to open my eyes to all the beauty and joy in the things/people around me! I can't thank you enough for this! You have taught me, without even knowing it, how to truly enjoy everything life has to offer, even the little things that seem so insignificant to most people!! What an amazing, beautiful, truly wonderful little girl you are!! You have my heart forever and will be with me always my sweetest angel!! Good night for now- xoxoxo

There is that question again...the one I cannot answer honestly....."How is your summer going?"...a well meaning, simple question....I hear that question and like getting a fist in the stomach my breath catches...I blink to hide the tears that are trying to spring into my eyes..."Fine" I hear myself mumble although I know it's a lie. Rachel I miss you so much and love you so much. I am just so very sad.

The memorial service for Rachel was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect-from the booklet, to the music to all the many wonderful things people said about her. Especially, listening to Leslie tell us about her radiant daughter Rachel. She was loved so much by your family. Rachel will never be forgotten by us. We watched her favorite movie today. We all got such a kick out of it-I can understand why it was her favorite. Thankyou for sharing it with us.

I couldn't let today (your favorite day, Sunday) go by without saying that I Love you Rachie and the sunshine you send to us is the sunshine we feel in our hearts for all the wonderful memories we have with you. Your smile is infectious and every time Aunty Tammy thinks of it I smile. Honestly, it is hard but I believe you are at peace and watching and listening ALL the time so really you are here with us still. As always, The biggest Hugs and Kisses the Heavens can hold from me to you. Love your Aunty Tammy.

Lee family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was Jameson's teacher last year and our class prayed for Rachel regularly. I feel like I had gotten to know her through him, and Andrea. My deepest prayers go to you, please know that the prayers will continue for all of you. From what I have read Rachel led her life as an example for so many of us. I hope her beautiful spirit continues to touch so many people. My deepest sympathies.

David, Leslie and family, Our hearts go out to you in this time of unimaginable heartache. We have spent many nights trying to think of words of comfort. However, no words can express the magnitude of sorrow and loss we all feel. We will miss Rachel's bright, cheery smile at the bus stop and miss seeing her playing in her tree. Each time we see that tree we think of Rachel and what a happy little girl she was. It's these memories that will one day replace the sadness in our hearts. We continue to pray for Rachel and your family and hope that one day we will understand why someone so special had to leave us so early. Your family displayed incredible strength and courage throughout this most difficult time. You are an example to all of us. Rachel's booklet is truely beautiful and will be treasured always. May God bless you all and fill your hearts with peace. We have all been blessed to have known Rachel.

Well, hello my sweet Rachie! I went to get my nails done today and I picked the coolest color green. I know you would love it and are smiling right now because it looks so cool! I also went for a run and I felt the warm, beautiful, radiant sun on me the whole time and it felt so much like the awesome hugs that you would give me and it put the biggest smile on my face and I thank you for that. I will always feel the warmth of the sun as a big huge hug from you!! I miss you terribly, but I know that you are at such peace now and not in pain any more. I always wanted the best life for you Rachie and although I am unbearably sad that the best life for you isn't here with us, I feel some comfort that you are having the best life up in Heaven with God, as his best little Angel ever!!! We'll talk again very soon, my sweet girl!! P.S. Thanks for the earring!! :-) :-) xoxoxoxoxoxo

Though we never met Rachel, she was in our hearts, because we know and cherish her grandparents Norma and Chet. Please be assured we are sharing thoughts of sadness with all those who knew Rachel. We hope her joy in heaven is the reward God intended for such a wonderful young child. Love, Marge and Ron Keller

I an deeply saddened by Rachel's passing. I did not know Her personally, but my son Nicholas did. I cannot begin to imagine your pain and sadness, but I do hope that the lord will help keep you strong. We are given these tiny creatures to love and nurture and I think we take for granted the fact that nothing is promised to us, and that this perfect little person can be taken from us at any time. I know Rachel was an inspiration to every life she touched, and everyone who just knew her story and prayed from the sidelines.Thank You Rachel for making me realize that every second I am given with my child is a blessing, and I will forever cherish every second I am given. May god bless your family at this time of sadness, but as the clouds and darkness subside, you will all be blessed with the most special of angels to guide and protect you.

My heart is filled with sadness thinking about Rachel.Rachel was a great friend to everybody ,a beautiful smart girl and the most outgoing person i have ever met.I remeber when we were at soccer practice and we were saying that we both had never made a goal that year but then she fought so hard to make a goal for the team and she did just like she fought so hard to get through this cancer but unfortunaltly the doctors could not do anything more for Rachel. She always kept a smile on her face even though she was sick.I love you!!! with lots of thoughts and love , Abbys

Lee Family: Gods consequence is now her final resting place. There will be no more sorrow, no more tears , no more waiting , no more uncertainty. She is now an Angel of the Lord. Rachel was obviously surrounded by an abundance of love and strength. You're a truly remarkable family and Aunty Tammys last post made all of us at 125 Stowell Rd weep. What a beautiful display of unconditional love. It is said that character is on display during times of upheaval. You and your family are of remarkable faith and character. This community is blessed having your family at the cornerstone. With all of our Love The Cerasuolo Family

My sweet, sweet, Rachel, Oh, how I miss you terribly and how my heart aches to see your beautiful, radiant, bright smile again. It was what I looked forward to every time we were together. You brought so much life, love and laughter to our whole family. You were such an amazing role model for Jay & Shae. This Earth will never be as wonderful a place now that you are gone, as it was when you were here with us. Although I may never know or understand why God had to take you from us so early, I do know that I'm forever grateful to him for allowing me the chance to know and love you and be forever proud of you Rachel! My heart is completely broken, but I know that in time you will help all of us to get through this unbearable time and help us to smile every time we think of you instead of cry. You always were the "Peacemaker." Sweet dreams, my sweet Angel. Please rest in peace now and know that we just love, adore, and miss you so very, very much and we always, always, always, will!!!!! xoxoxoxoxo

I had a dream about Rachel Sunday night. She was sick, then all of the sudden she was well and herself again...happy and vibrant. I heard the news early the next morning. I'd like to think that's how it was for her....all the sudden well and happy. I just wish with all my heart she could be here well and happy with her family around her. I will forever hold your little girl close in my heart. I wish I could say something that could help ease your suffering, but I can't imagine that is possible right now. In time I'm sure the memories of Rachel will bring more smiles than tears, and I look foward to sharing some of those smiles with you. Please take care, and know that I am always here to leand a hand if needed. Love always, Denise

Dear Ones, Our hearts ache for you and for our world. What a loss. Often God's reasons for doing things are difficult to understand. Some people live many years and never influence as many people as your dear Rachel. I'm so thankful that she is now without disease. The next time you see her she'll be her "old" self! Praise God for the power of the resurrection to eternal life that He shares with those who trust in Him. We continue in prayer. I think it's been so rainy because even the sun doesn't want to shine. Dear Lee Family, I hope you are OK. Rachel is in a better place now. Rachel, Father John told me that you are the brightest star in the sky and I know that it is you smiling down at us. Hope that all of you will be able feel better someday and you will be reunited soon. When I found out about Rachel not doing so well, I was devastated. But now I feel better because she is in Heaven and she is no longer sick or suffering..she is renewed! I will miss her and she will ALWAYS remain in my heart. I will NEVER forget her. She was a great kid and I will never forget her endless smile.

Rachel, You have taken a piece of our hearts with you to heaven but you have left us with your spirit and memories of your beautiful smile. You and your journey have changed our lives forever. I will think of you everytime I kiss my kids, everytime I see a butterfly, every time I drive by your street. Every soccer game will be played for you Rachel. We are blessed to have known you and you have taught us to appreciate every day and not to take one single breath for granted. Thank you Rachel. I pray that God will mend your family's broken hearts and give them strength and peace knowing that you are safe and they will be with you again when God calls them. All our love, Heidi, Burt, Jacob and Abby Spillers
